FC Partizan Belgrade football club (ФК Партизан Београд / FK Partizan Beograd) is one of the biggest Serbian professional football clubs based in Belgrade. FK Partizan Belgrade’s fans are also called “Undertakers” – “Grobari”. As they are mainly situated at the south stand of the Partizan stadium, they are also known as “Grobari Jug” ("The Undertakers South"). The fanbase of Partizan is worldwide, especially strong also in Montenegro, Bosnia and Hercegovina and Macedonia. They are also veri popular amongst Greek football fans especialy in Solun (FK PAOK from Solun have close relations with FK Partizan)

The club has a long and fierce rivalry with city neighbour FC Red Star Belgrade – the matches Red Star vs Partizan are called the “Belgrade derby” or also known as the “Eternal Derby” (Вечити дерби / Večiti derbi). The city is always on high alert when the next game Red Star vs Partizan is on the schedule. Belgrade derby the reason why this two clubs are so good and their fans so passionate, one without another they would‘t be the most successful clubs in the Balkans, and one of moust popular in Europ.
The Black-Whites (Црно-бели / Crno-beli) most successful season was 1965/1966, when they reached the Final of the European Cup – todays Champions League. On the way to the final they defeated football heavyweights like French Nantes and German Werder Bremen in the first two rounds and Sparta Prag in the quarterfinals. In the half-final they took out famous Manchester United, led by George Best and Bobby Charlton. Partizan's babies (as the players are called) took on Real Madrid in the 1966 European Cup on 11 May at the Heysel Stadium in Brussels. Partizan FC lost unfortunately 2:1 against famoust Real Madrid, despite leading till the 70th minute by the goal from Velibor Vasović. This was the first time an Easter European football team ever reached a European Champions Cup final. 

Partizan was Serbia’s first participant in the Champions League since state independence it was season 2011/2011 – headed by German trainer Lothar Matthäus. Partizan’s Champions League season ended in the group phase against FC Shakhtar Donetsk, FC Braga and Arsenal London. 

Partizan had many football legends, starts from Stjepan Bobek (the best score in club history with 425 goals), Velibor Vasović (later become AFC Ajax captain), Dragan Mance an extremely talented FC Partizan striker is one of the greatest club legends. Unfortunately, he died very young at the age 22 in a tragic car accident in 1985. In his honour, the street next to the club's stadium in Belgrade has carried his name since 2011.“This must be the first kick he had in this game – and what a kick it was” – comment of the English TV moderator at Mances legendary goal against Queens Park Rangers in 1984. We have to mention Pedja Mijatović, Matea Kežman and legendary captain Saša Ilić who played over 800 games in the FK Partizan Belgrade jersey. His pashion and fighting spirit brought him also the respect from rival Red Star Belgrade supporters call „Delije“.
