Lineage Nemanjić's motif was inspired by the famous frescoes from Visoki Dečani, Gračanica and Studenica monasteries. Depicted in the form of a branched tree, this iconography depicts the genealogy of the saintly lineage from the progenitor Stefan Nemanja (St. Simeon Myrotočiv) to his famous descendants, rulers and saints who founded the Serbian church, statehood and culture.
