What you need for a perfect Slava celebration
Krsna slava is one of the most important Serbian holidays. On that day, we gather people we love, family, friends, godfathers, so it's clear why every year we care about bringing a perfect glorious service to the table.
The most important features of the celebration are candles, cakes, wheat and wine. Slavic trpezas, although not part of the most important religious features, is equally important for both hosts and guests. That's why we make the most effort around it, because we all want to look as rich and tastier as possible.
We do not doubt in the culinary skills of our housekeeper. And this will not be another new text about new recipes for glory. We want to draw attention to the good old Serbian tradition of Slavic service that re-enters fashion.
Slava - a Serbian tradition
Moderacy is part of Serbian tradition, not luxury. So from the glorious glory, glamorous joy should not be made with too many guests who will be replaced by the table as "on the tape". In addition, although richly decorated that looks nice, it's safe for anyone to relax with silver tablecloths and Czech crystals. So make a comfortable, warm and pleasant home atmosphere where your closest friends will be able to relax and feel comfortable. The point is to host your loved one and share the joy of the holiday with them, and not show the luxury and richness.
Have Serbian products on your table
Many housewives are struggling to make something new and unusual for glory, but the guests are still the most favorite of traditional Serbian dishes. There is no perfect Slava table without hams, proje, sarms, beans, roasting, ajvar. Or without a wedding cabbage stored in a pot or meat with a potato beneath the bun. These are traditional Serbian products and Serbian dishes that everyone likes. Even when all this is served and good home-made brandy or homemade wine, the fullness of taste is invaluable. Therefore, it is not necessary to torture too much about new tastes and recipes, the Serbian table is still the most delicious.
How to serve traditional Serbian dishes
Serbian products and Serbian dishes are served in traditional dishes, which are mostly made of natural materials such as wood and clay. Apricot, roasting and fish should be served on wooden ovals or serving boards, and earthen vessels of different sizes can serve for salads, beans, cabbage, soup, goulash and the like. In addition to this service, there is a retro ceramic dining service, as well as ceramic glasses from which wine was once used. Cuture for brandy serves to hold brandy on the table, which uses small teaspoons of brandy, which is still the sweetest if drunk. These traditional Serbian serving containers are not used today on a daily basis, which makes this holiday atmosphere more special and more beautiful.
Cuture for brandy, nice brandy case - sale
Hand-painted blossoms for brandy, as well as small crayons for brandy with ethno motifs of plum and quince, are more than ever popular among fans of good Serbian brandy. Scandals for brandy are different in different parts of Serbia. In Šumadija, this type of glass is called šulić, and in Vojvodina fićok, and on other places sometimes polić. Whatever they call them, blackberries have only one drawback - unfortunately, this magical court has a bottom.
Unlike the čokanji that became popular a few years ago, glasses for brandy were never out of fashion. Simply because a good old Serbian cookie can not be drunk from another case for brandy. Selling everything that is traditionally related to old Serbian customs about the Slava is found in our online store. Perhaps the moment has come for you to surprise your guests this year with something truly special, to bring them back to old times and recall old Serbian customs and traditions. And do not forget, the čuture for brandy to serve and to make a toast with your guests that come at the doorstep of your home.
