Shubara – Warmth Preserving History
In Serbian tradition, the shubara is not just a hat; it is a shield against harsh nature and a symbol of an unyielding spirit. While other hats changed with fashion, the natural fur shubara has faithfully interpreted the strength of a people who spent centuries in it, guarding flocks and hearths. The black color of the shubara carries a sense of nobility and dignity, reminding us of times when quality was measured by longevity. Wearing this shubara is an act of respect for nature and ancestors, providing warmth that comes not only from the fur but from a sense of pride and belonging to one's roots.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
How do I determine the shubara size?
Measure your head circumference in centimeters (usually above the eyebrows and ears). That number corresponds to the size (e.g., 58 cm = size 58).
-
How do I maintain natural fur?
If it gets wet, shake the shubara and let it dry naturally at room temperature (never near a radiator). You can occasionally comb it with a soft brush.
-
Does the fur have a specific smell?
Natural fur has a mild, authentic scent that fades over time, serving as proof that it is not a synthetic material.
-
Can I wear it in the rain?
Brief exposure to moisture is fine, but long-term use in heavy rain is not recommended as it may cause the fur's hide to stiffen.

Jako lepa šubara, odgovara slikama i opisu na sajtu. Super je što sa unutrašnje strane ima pertlicu kojom može malo da se pritegne kako bi čvrsto stajala na glavi. Veoma sam zadovoljna i oblikom. Inače, šubara ide u Kanadu, za poklon. ????
