TREE OF LIFE

In Slavic mythology, as well as in the mythologies of all ancient civilizations, the world is depicted as a sacred tree, or the TREE OF LIFE (with us it is usually an oak), which, with its eternal or renewing greenness, represents life itself as the axis of the world.
Its top represents the space of the sky, and the root of the tree - the underworld.
In the crown of the tree dwell the gods headed by Perun, the ruler of men and lord of the sky, and in the root of the tree is Veles, who in his second form (snake or dragon) rules the underworld, i.e. the world where the spirits of ancestors live.
That is why the tree is our link with the Gods on the one hand and our ancestors on the other, a temple of the gods and a set of energies that inspire, heal and heal us, protect and develop consciousness and spirituality.
