Jovan Vladimir was the Serbian ruler of Duklja, the most powerful Serbian principality of that era, from around 1000 to 1016.

He was known as a pious, just and peaceful ruler, who suffered because of injustice. Therefore, he is revered as a saint and martyr, and in the Serbian Orthodox Church he is celebrated on May 22 according to the old calendar, or June 4 according to the new calendar, as the Holy Martyr John Vladimir, prince of Serbia.
