Popularly known as "Vrtoloma", this day is associated with protection from storms and calamities.

  • Suspension of work: The main custom is not to do heavy work in the field (plowing, harvesting) on ​​this day, because it is believed that storms and hail will destroy the crops.
  • Beware of falling: The holiday is also called Vratoloma (Vrotoloma), so it is forbidden to climb trees, ladders or any place from which you can fall, so as not to "break your neck" (not only physically, but also spiritually).
